Dahilayan Adventure Park

Dahilayan Adventure Park sits atop the mountains of Dahilayan, Bukidnon. Getting here is an adventure in itself. From Cagayan de Oro, we took the Davao-Bukidnon Highway for a 25 km journey to Dahilayan past Camp Phillips (where we took a quick stop for some picture-taking with the famous pineapples of Bukidnon)

It’s the perfect summer getaway, far from the busy city life and the stresses of everyday living. As you enter the park, you are greeted by lush greens that stretch out as far as you can see and it’s almost entirely covered with fog making it very cold. (Tip: A jacket/sweater might come in handy because it can get really cold in the afternoon). Dining is not a problem here since it serves delicious meals at very affordable prices. But if you want to have the coolest picnic, you can use the picnic area for just PHP50 and have your baon under the big pine trees.

After a very filling lunch, you can head out for a short horseback riding activity where a guide takes you around the flower garden for just around PHP100. If you are on the more adventurous side, you better try Zorbing a.k.a. globe or ball riding (Tip: Try this with a friend ) or the famous Dahilayan Adventure Park Zipzone for the greatest adventure of your life (Tip: Upon arriving at the park, have your zipline reservations as lines can be too long in the afternoon)

If you need a break from all the adrenaline rush, you can spend it playing and lazing around the mini playground which offers a great view of the mountains and the zipzone or hop on an ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle) and journey through the easy and tough terrains of Dahilayan. The place has a lot to offer for the old and young alike, the breathtaking views and the adrenaline pumping! The place definitely defines the thrill of a lifetime!
